Here at MAT we pride ourselves on our Student Support. We have a dedicated student support team that is ready to help you when/if you need it.

In order for us to assist you in a timely fashion, we ask that you make a note of the question number, page number and unit title that you are having difficulties with prior to contacting MAT.

Trainers are contactable in a number of ways, and we’re sure one of them will suit your needs. This includes:

  • Messaging via your LMS (our online learning management system)
  • Email
  • Scheduling phone calls or online chats

Types of enquiries your trainer handles are primarily academic support such as:

  • Help completing assessments
  • Help understanding learning concepts and content
  • Help using software and tools that are relevant to your studies

In addition, we make sure our Student Support team is there to answer any of those general non-academic enquiries such as:

  • Help with log in details
  • Trouble shooting uploading documents to the LMS
  • Support in navigating the LMS

To support learners we have extended open hours. Trainers are available Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 4.30pm AEST however special out of hours sessions may be booked with your trainer in certain circumstances.

The support team are available from up to 8pm week days by email correspondence. Over the weekends and public holidays the support team are available by email correspondence only (emails are checked periodically over the weekend).
