Our nationally accredited and industry supported Frontline Healthcare course covers the valuable practical skills that will help you get started or recognised in the healthcare sector, regardless of if you are new to the industry, are looking for a change or simply need to refresh or upskill.
Speaking, listening, reading, writing and using numbers in a variety of practical ways underpins workplace skills. Sound language, literacy and numeracy skills are required to complete this course. You will need a Year 10 standard of English reading, writing and mathematics as well as basic computing skills and access to a computer to complete this course.
BSBMED301 INTERPRET AND APPLY MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY APPROPRIATELY
This nationally recognised unit will assist you to receive, interpret and document written and oral instructions
using medical terminology. You will learn to interpret abbreviations for specialised medical terminology and
interpret and adhere to the policies and procedures of the workplace.
HLTINF001 COMPLY WITH INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
In this nationally recognised unit you will learn how to manage different situations involving infections, the standard procedures for infection control and how to identify and assess risks and hazards.
CHCCCS010 MAINTAIN A HIGH STANDARD OF SERVICE
In this nationally recognised unit you will learn how to establish a rapport with clients, use effective communication, appropriately manage and minimise aggression, take action to resolve conflict and respond and deal with complaints.
As there are no set intake dates for our Frontline Healthcare course, you can enrol and start studying at any time that suits you.
The total fee for this course is $490. Payment can be made in full or via an interest-free weekly payment plan commencing upon enrolment: $150 on enrolment plus 8 x weekly payments of $42.50. Payment plan information can be found here.
All students are allocated 3-6 weeks (full-time) or 6-12 weeks (part-time) for course completion, however as this is a self-paced course you can complete your course in much less time should you wish.
As a general guide, we recommend a commitment of 6-8 hours per week for part-time study and 10-20 hours per week for full-time study.
Absolutely! Medical Administration Training delivers fully accredited training in Certificate III up to Diploma level qualifications in Health Administration.
