This module covers the skills and knowledge required to research information about compliance and ethical practice responsibilities, and then develop and monitor policies and procedures to meet those responsibilities.

  • CHCLEG003 – Manage legal and ethical compliance

There is a myriad of risks that a General Practice face day to day and risk management is a crucial part of good practice management.

This subject provides the skills and knowledge required to establish risk context, identify and analyse risks and implement the appropriate treatments.

For this module, the unit you will complete is:

  • BSBRSK501 Manage risk

This nationally recognised Skill Set has been endorsed by the industry as suitable for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in a related field or currently work in the health administration sector.

For entry into Medical Administration Training (MAT) accredited VET courses students must be assessed for Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) capabilities. As a guide – an equivalent of Australia’s Year 12 certificate. To view the required Australian Core Skills Framework ACSF levels Click here

Computer Skills – The course is an online course so you need to have basic computer skills. Word processing skills are also required.
