LANGUAGE, LITERACY & NUMERACY (LLN) REQUIREMENTS

All training and assessment for this course is delivered in English. To participate effectively, you need to read, write, speak, and understand English so you can engage with materials, complete assessments, and demonstrate your skills.

You should be able to:

  • Read and interpret workplace documents such as policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Write structured responses, summaries, and workplace-style reports.
  • Follow multi-step or technical instructions.
  • Work with data, financial information, schedules, and healthcare records.

Under the Standards for RTOs, we are required to confirm that all students have the foundation language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills needed to successfully complete their course.

We make this process simple and guide you through it as part of your application.

We review how your application form is completed, along with details about your schooling, further education, and work experience to confirm your readiness to study.

This may include:
• Completion of secondary school in Australia (e.g. Year 10, Year 12)
• Completion of a nationally recognised qualification or skill set
• Further education or training completed in English (e.g. university study)

If more information is needed, we may ask you to complete a short online LLN assessment during the application process to make sure the course is the right fit for you.
