Ann McFillin – Director
My experience in the health industry began many years ago as a nursing student at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. After a number of years I left nursing and spent time caring for my young family. The urge to return to nursing saw me complete a Bachelor of Nursing degree and from there, I progressed to a Master of Nursing qualification.
During my time at university I developed a love of teaching. As a result, I began working as a Clinical Facilitator for a number of universities and TAFE colleges. I experienced an enormous amount of satisfaction from passing on my knowledge and experience to students. As my passion for teaching continued to grow, I investigated the possibility of starting my own training company focusing on the health industry.
Medical Administration Training began operating as a Registered Training Organisation in 2004 in Brisbane and progressed in a short period of time to offer courses across Australia. Medical Administration Training has trained thousands of students over this period who have gone on to become successful employees within the health care industry.
