MAT offers payment plans through Ezidebit, allowing students to pay course fees through regular weekly or fortnightly instalments over an agreed period.
Payment plans must be established prior to course commencement and students must comply with the agreed payment schedule.
Ezidebit transaction and processing fees apply.
Payment plans must normally be established using a bank account or credit/debit card in the student’s name.
Where a student wishes to use a bank account or card belonging to another person (for example a parent, partner or employer), written authorisation from the account holder must be provided to MAT prior to the payment plan being activated. This authorisation confirms that the account holder agrees to the direct debit arrangement.
MAT reserves the right to decline payment plan arrangements where appropriate authorisation cannot be provided.
A direct debit is a contract signed by a customer and a Biller (or Merchant) allowing the Biller to debit the customer’s nominated bank account. A Direct Debit Request gives an organisation permission to electronically withdraw a nominated amount from your chosen account.
Should you nominate to pay your training fees via a payment plan arrangement a Direct Debit request form (DDR) will be forwarded to you via email. Enrolment into your course will not occur unless the DDR has been fully approved and the registration payment has been made.
A schedule of payment instalments are automatically calculated on the DDR and instalment amounts are clearly outlined on your course registration form. You may select either a weekly or fortnightly payment option.
You will be entering into a direct debit agreement with EziDebit. Payment Plans are available on the following courses.

To arrange for an alternative payment arrangement (i.e. weekly payments), please call Medical Administration Training to discuss this.
You may be eligible for a Payment Plan if:
- You have no outstanding debt with Medical Administration Training Pty Ltd
- You are over 18 years of age or older
- You have the financial capacity to pay the course enrolment fee at the time of enrolment
- You have the financial capacity to meet the agreed Payment Plan instalment
Yes. A third party, such as a parent or employer, can pay your course fees on your behalf, using their bank account or credit card for the payment plan.
If this applies, we will need:
- Written confirmation from the person or organisation agreeing to pay, and
- A completed Direct Debit Form from that payer.
Both documents must be received before we can set up and finalise your payment plan.
Payment plan instalment amounts and scheduled debit dates are established at the time the payment plan agreement is approved and are generally fixed for the duration of the payment plan.
Students are expected to ensure that sufficient funds are available in their nominated account on the scheduled debit dates.
If a student experiences financial difficulty or anticipates that a scheduled payment cannot be met, they must contact MAT as soon as possible to discuss their situation.
Students may choose to pay the remaining course fees in full at any time. If you wish to do this, please contact MAT so the payment plan can be finalised and the outstanding balance arranged.
If a student decides to withdraw from their course, the formal withdrawal procedure must be followed. Please note that withdrawing from a course does not automatically cancel an agreed payment plan, and outstanding course fees may still be payable depending on the enrolment terms and timing of the withdrawal.
Students are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available in the nominated bank account on the scheduled debit date to allow the direct debit payment to be processed.
If a payment cannot be processed due to insufficient funds or other account issues:
- A failed payment fee of up to $21.90 may apply for each unsuccessful debit attempt.
- Students are responsible for any additional fees or charges applied by their financial institution.
If missed payments continue or remain unresolved, this may result in further action, including:
- Suspension of access to course materials or training services
- Cancellation of enrolment (Note: this does not cancel the obligation to make all payments under the existing Direct Debit arrangement. Refer to the fees, refunds and cancellation policy Click here)
- Referral of the outstanding debt to a debt collection agency, with any associated recovery costs added to the outstanding balance.
Students experiencing difficulty meeting payment obligations are encouraged to contact MAT as soon as possible to discuss their options.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your bank details and credit card information remains up to date. Please ensure you notify us of any updated bank details or credit card information as soon as possible.
If your card is expiring you will be reminded by Ezidebit to update those details.
You will find the Ezidebit Terms and Conditions here.
