When looking for any medical course, it is important to consider that this is an investment in your future. There are many courses on offer but finding the right one for you can be a bit of a task.

To help you, we’ve explained what to look for when it comes to an online course.

1. Nationally Recognised

If a career in the medical administration field is your aim, it is important to make sure that the work you are putting into your course is actually going to mean something at the end. There are a lot of courses on offer that aren’t actually nationally recognised. If you can complete a course where you receive a formal qualification, it will make you more employable.

Here at Medical Administration Training all of our courses are nationally recognised and accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).  Our RTO number is 31078, you can check whether a course or training provider is accredited by visiting www.training.gov.au .

2. Medical Course Flexibility

When looking at completing an online course, flexibility is probably one of the most important factors that you will consider. You want to make sure that the course offers flexible hours, so that you can maintain the current demands of life (working, raising a family etc.). This allows you to be more productive and get the most out of your course.

With Medical Administration Training, not only can you access your course 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can also progress through your course as fast as you like. Therefore, the great thing about our online courses is flexibility allowing you to manage the work/life balance effectively.

3. Easy to use

Medical Administration Training utilise an easy to use cloud based eLearning system ensuring communicating with your trainer and completing your course is effortless.  Log in from anywhere, anytime.

4. Qualified Trainers

When selecting your course, it is important to make sure that the trainers and assessors have professional VET experience as well as industry experience. Having the support of trainers who know the industry and understand what obstacles you may face helps to build your confidence to ask questions and to know you get firsthand experience at your fingertips.

Here at Medical Administration Training, our qualified trainers not only have the various professional VET qualifications but they are also currently working in the medical industry making them uniquely qualified to answer questions about both the curriculum and the industry. Even though our online study courses may be delivered online, our trainers and support team are available to help you every step of the way.

5. Relevant course content

Both medical administrators’ and practice managers play an important role in the healthcare industry. Therefore, it is essential that the course you choose will cover the comprehensive theory.  Australia has a unique set of healthcare standards and for this reason, you need to make sure that what you are learning is relevant (by a Registered Training Organisation).

We believe you should receive course content that is relevant to the Australian healthcare system, not a generic world-wide overview. That’s why we have developed courses that are based and designed on relevant Australian healthcare industry standards.

We cover a range of topics that will make you job ready in your chosen field.
